So for my 300,000 item copy - 6,295 items failed to copy with an 'Access Denied’ error under VV 3.0 Build 3000

I have now received Build 3001.....tested.......it works, no issues with 'Access Denied' !

Many thanks Smile I will continue to monitor over the weekend. It's a scheduled job running every 30 mins, so I'll have plenty of opportunities to spot 'anomalies'.

Thanx for the update, however I still face the problem of: Acces Denied, to be more specific: "The file cannot be accessed by the system". And it's on "D", whereas a back-up succeeded on an "E" connected/labelled device.

I do have a log-file and a screen shot of the error, please let me know whether you need them...

Had the exact same problem just now. 3001 fixed the problem! Thanks to OP for posting and to TGRMN for the quick fix.

Hi, I have latest version 3001, but also getting error messages access denied when backing up from server to my laptop. files to be updated on my laptop (target) cannot be deleted or copied over, access denied message keeps coming up. any suggestions ?

Hi, what is the entire error message from the profile log? It could be a permission issue. thanks
