Hello,
i have a registered copy of ViceVersa PRO 2.5 (VSS)
I got a profile scheduled on VVScheduler.
The profile has Archiving. In "Archive options" i've set "Keep max. [10] copies per file".
But, when the profile runs, it doesn't delete the older copies. I have hundreds of copies of the same file, inside the archive folder.
It looks like it's ignoring this option.
How can i troubleshoot it?

Thanks,
best regards

Andrea

hello,
i'm still investigating.... on which phase the VV task will delete the archive copies? Is it at the end of the task?
I think i am in a loop.... the archive folder is huge: 470.000 files (4.3 TB)
The VV profile task hangs for hours on:
Code:
2018-01-29 11:51:00 : -- Checking archive folder (full check)...

and then:
Code:
2018-01-30 07:05:58 : Stopping archive folder checking...
2018-01-30 07:05:58 : Re-comparing ...
2018-01-30 07:05:59 : ---- Copying finished ----
2018-01-30 07:05:59 : ---- End ----

So, the it keeps archiving files without removing them, and things get worse on each run Very Happy

Are you stopping the archive folder checking or it stops by itself? thanks

Are you able to make a copy of the archive folders and re-start with an empty folder? I think there are too many files in the archive.
