Hello,
I'm using the latest version of ViceVersa Pro 2.5 and VVEngine v2.1 Server,
trying to replicate files for a disaster recovery site, live.
I'm doing this on a test folder but my actual data is 1.3TB.
I was able to create a sync profile in ViceVersa Pro 2.5, and go to Advanced Settings > Copy permissions NTFS (checked all 3 options).
I even went to run a script after execution in advanced settings:
"ROBOCOPY source destination /SECFIX /COPY:ATSOU /e /xx"
Did initial sync with Execute, everything synched great, with NTFS permissions.

Went to VVEngine v2.1 Server and scheduled a 'live sync' schedule:
checked [x] Monitor Source and Run When File Changes Are Detected - Folder level (also File Level).

My problem: NTFS permission changes don't replicate when I change them. Only when I change the file contents, name etc.
Is there a way to trigger that, or do I have to routinely run the robocopy command each hour to check, also would it take long for the ROBOCOPY command on my 1.3 TB production NAS environment?

Hi, this feature will be available in the new ViceVersa PRO 3.0 and the new VVEngine , scheduled for Jan 2018. VVEngine will be able to trigger a profile run if only file permissions change on a file and ViceVersa will be able to recognize the changed permissions.
