I have Vice Versa Pro 2 Build 2010. I have used it for years (since 2010 obviously), and I have never enabled any features that would have it back up my data automatically. I've always preferred manual backups (plus the backup hard drive I use is usually not connected to the computer).
Today I turned on my computer, and the following text appeared in a DOS Command Prompt window - see below. I'm kind of wondering how it's possible that suddenly ViceVersa Pro could be doing something upon bootup that I didn't ever ask it to do, especially when I haven't touched the settings of ViceVersa Pro for at least a year.
Also, for the past 1-2 weeks, I've noticed windows randomly popping up (say, every 15, 30 or 60 minutes... not sure of the time interval exactly since I don't always notice it) and disappearing so fast that I can't see what happened. I thought maybe I had some kind of screen capturing malware and even ended up downloading Spybot S&D last night. But after today, I'm wondering if all of these popups have been ViceVersa Pro, and for whatever reason today VV encountered an error that prevented the window from closing, allowing me to finally see what it is. (This is all conjecture of course.)
To go further in conjecture, when I first ran Spybot, it asked if I wanted to delete a bunch of temporary files (I did). I wonder if that's what caused this weird ViceVersa Pro snapshot "location" to go missing, whatever it was.

Hello,
This is the command line being run:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\ViceVersa Pro 2\VICEVERSA.EXE" "::{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}\snapshot.vsn" /source:"::{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} " /createsnapshot /console /incsub /showtrayicon /pause /comptype:2
This creates a snapshot of {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} to ::{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}\snapshot.vsn
I suggest that you uninstall ViceVersa (make sure you know your registration code as you will need it to reinstall) and re-install.
Do you have this extension installed ?

If so please uninstall that too.
I am not sure what is running the above command line? Startup? Or another program?
