My hard drive recently failed. Thanks to YOU, my data is intact and backups to my network attached storage are complete. So, no worries.
Previously, I was on Windows 7, running VV v2.5. I decided to start over with Windows 10 this time since I had to rebuild a new drive from scratch.
I am currently copying all of my backed up directories from my backup storage. The drive layout will be the same as before from a file directory perspective.
The question is, if I simply use the same profile I created before and start running it every night (via scheduling tool), will it figure out that these are the same files and only copy over things that have changed from here forward? Or is it going to start over, seeing every file as a new entity?
Thanks.
