Hello
I have asked this question, before regarding server to server use, but i want to be sure I understand.
if i am backing up a workstations to a single server - i need a license for each workstation - but no license is required for the server. correct?
if i use VV to backup one server to another server (both Windows server 2012), i was told each server required a license. i see VV as a push operation, i am pushing files on a server to another server, and see the need for one license. can you explain why each server needs a license?
thank you |

It's part of our licensing structure: one server license is needed for each server participating in the synchronization, backup or replication, so one server to another server requires 2 licenses even if ViceVersa is installed on one server only and files are pushed to the other server.
