long path names not working

I am evaluating ViceVersa Pro for a project to migrate a bunch of Win2K3 file servers to 2012 R2. The server I'm trying has a bunch of long paths/files. But for whatever reason, the long path support is not working.

I'm doing a 'Backup (Mirror Source to Target)' job and specifying the paths as source: \\?\d:\sh_apps, target: \\?\z:\\sh_apps (it's a mapped drive).

What am I doing wrong? If I change the profile and save it, then go open it right back up, it's reverted to d:\sh_apps and z:\sh_apps. I'm pulling my hair out here. It never retains the settings. All other settings get saved & are identical if I close the profile and open it up again.

Hi, use \\?\d:\sh_apps and \\?\z:\sh_apps and save. It should save the info.
