Exclude files with selected name not working

I have done a CRC compare of a large set of folders/files - 116,278 files - 1,618 folders. It has found 449 files that do not match - they seem to be thumb.db files.

To make sure they are all thumb.db files I have selected one, right clicked, and chosen "Exclude Files with Selected File Name(s)".

However, when I do that, nothing happens - the thumb.db files stay right where they are. I also tried "Exclude Files with Selected File Type(s)" and "Selected File(s)" - didn't help.

I must be doing wrong?

Opps - don't you just hate it when you post something and a few minutes later you solve the problem.... Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to delete the post.

I had already excluded the thumbs.db in the Compare! Just needed to click the red X...

Sorry about that - I'll go hide in a corner now.

Hello, no problem! Yes, excluded files are still shown in the two lists unless the red X is deselected in the comparison window.
