|
|
Hi I am trying to upgrade from 2516 to 2518 on a Win 10 x32 machine and am having a problem with Norton Internet Security Antivirus quarantining the VVPro file as soon as it is downloaded as it believes it is infected with a virus.
The message from Norton is below.
Please confirm it is safe?
Thanks
Filename: vvpro.exe
Full Path: c:\users\dpc-admin-02\appdata\local\microsoft\windows\inetcache\ie\hjoyrtxl\vvpro.exe

By the way, the VirusTotal report includes Norton Symantec too!
You are able to upload your downloaded file to VirusTotal too and check it again if you want. thanks _________________ --

Norton anti-virus is still reporting vvpro as dangerous. vvpro64 downloads fine but vvpro downloads are stopped by Norton.
I have used Vice Versa for years so this does not concern me. However you may have new customers not buy your product because of this. Also Norton deletes the file in mid-download so new customers receive a file with zero bytes.
Is there any way for you to get through to Norton that they are hurting your business? |
