ViceVersa Pro 2.5 - Build 2517 - (64-bit)

Using one profile is there a way to copy all the files in a folder structure using the 'Backup (Mirror Source to Target)' based on 'Comparison : Size and Timestamp' except one, which I only need to copy if its specific size changes.

Simplified scenario is :

lots of files in a folder, but one is a huge .PST file (10GB). As staff open unrelated (to the .PST) .msg files that opens Outlook and any .PST associated with the main e-mail file has its 'Timestamp' updated. VV then copies the huge .PST to the network as if a change has occurred, which it has...to the Timestamp, but not to the file size....and all this because an unrelated .msg was opened.

Any way to exclude the .PST except when its size changes ?

Thanks in advance.

Great product (but l o n g i n g for an interface / feature upgrade)...

Hi, currently it is not possible to apply a different comparison method only for 1 file. You would need to setup 2 profiles, one profile only including that file and comparing only on size, the other one excluding that file.
It is an interesting new feature however, to have the ability to apply a different comparison method for files over a certain size. I have logged it Smile thanks

The new option would be in Profile Settings -> Comparison -> Exceptions...
