Hi there,

we are currently testing your software for file replications on workdays.
We have detected that files like word documents currently in use are somehow locked during backups with VV. The question is where does this file locking come from? We are using shadow copies and therefore there shouldn't be any locking? Is this really because of VV - doesn't it release files after locking them? Users complain that their documents are suddenly locked by unknown.

The rest of this software seems to fit perfectly in our environment. Thanks!

Details:

The only explanation would be that the shadow coy is maybe failing... could you check the profile log? thanks

Hello,

thanks for your feedback. We found out that VV was not causing this problem. It is still working without any problems.
