Win 10 x64 Pro upgrade from Win7 x64 Pro
set to boot into default user without a password

ViceVersa Pro 2.5 build 2516 64 bit
via shortcut set to run as administrator

I wish to run a profile at set intervals to backup to a connected external drive. Works fine manually.

This is what doesn't work:

VVPro/Tools/Scheduling Tools/VVscheduler/Add Task
Enter task name OK - setup window
Run as option - Set password - enter a suitable pw - OK
Select required profile and autoexec option - OK
Popup demands User Account and Password - enter pw just specified
ERROR: code 0x8007052e user name or password is incorrect
OK then aborts setup process.

Something illogical and/or misleading here.

What is the first password request all about and why does it not satisfy the second such request above?

I do not intend to add a password to my computer user profile just to satisfy a whim of Vice Versa Pro. How can I get past this barrier?

Hi, it's Windows that is enforcing this, please see:

I would recommend that you use the VVEngine instead... it's a lot more powerful than VVScheduler and does it not require any passwords, please see:

thanks
