I just added some folders containing over 900 jpg's to my wife's PC and when I run VV it gives me the following error on all these new files:

[Can not open "source filename" Access is denied.]

Everything else on this PC copies fine.

Any ideas?

It could be a file permission issue. Please try running ViceVersa as "full admin", that is, right-click on the ViceVersa icon and select "Run As Administrator" from the menu. Are the pictures then accessible by ViceVersa?
thanks

It's running with Administrator status. This profile has two sets of sources and targets, both from the C drive (this is my wife's PC). One source is the documents folder and this copies over just fine. The other is a folder containing just a few items that used to also copy with no problems.

I added about 900 jpg's from her ipad and started getting the access errors. If I add any file to this folder it doesn't copy. I deleted a file from the target folder and it failed to copy the deleted file back to it.

Files from the other documents folder source are still going over OK.

I've spent a lot of time playing around with the permissions for this folder and can't see what's different between the two sources.

Thanks for your help.
