Hi,

I have setup ViceCersa with VVEngine, using the double installation method found in the following installation PDF, which uses 'Synchronize files one-way only'. http://www.tgrmn.com/web/docs/realtime.pdf

This works well for file that are not named the same or that have never been tracked by the tracking database. But this method doesn't seem to work with file named the same but have different content in them.

I have tried using the 'Both', 'CRC' and 'Time and Size' comparison but neither of these work for the following scenarios. Note all files added have the same name but different content.

Code:
Server 1            Server 2   Action            ViceVersa Action
_____________________________________________________________

>> [ ] --------------> [ ]     Add file Srv1      Copies file Srv1 to Srv2
    X <--------------  [X]     Del file on Srv2   Del on Srv1
>> [ ] ------X                 Add file Srv1      Doesn't copy file !
_____________________________________________________________

>> [ ] --------------> [ ]      Add file Srv1      Copies file Srv1 to Srv2
   [X]-------------->   X       Del file on Srv1   Del on Srv2
             X-------- [ ]<<    Add file Srv2      Doesn't copy file !
_____________________________________________________________

In both of the scenarios when I put the second 'same named' file into the folder VVEngine runs but doesn't recognize the new file as a new file, so will not copy it to the other server. This doesn't cause VVEngine to error at first, but does causes a conflict and errors later down the line.

Any help would be appreciated. Smile
