Hi guys

Sorry to ask a dumb question, but I don't want to make a mistake, and would value a couple of answers to my simple questions javascript:emoticon('Embarassed')

The source Folder will be erased later but keeping the Target folder as the one I shall retain.

AIM
I want to know what settings to select to Copy files from Source to Target which will :

(a) COPY EVERYTHING present in SOURCE to TARGET, and where a file exists in the Target it should be overwritten regardless of whether the Target is newer or older. The copying should retain the date and time of the various SOURCE files. I don't know if the word I should be using to describe this process is Updating?

OR a different method I can use which will:

(b) COPY EVERYTHING present in SOURCE to TARGET, and where a file exists in the Target it should be overwritten only if it is newer than older file in the SOURCE. The copying should retain the date and time of the various Source files.

MY SUGGESTED PROFILE SETTINGS
I am suggesting using REPLICATION UPDATE TARGET which I think is the correct choice, and I have selected as 'checked' PROFILE SETTINGS; ADVANCED SETTINGS; MORE; RETAIN FOLDER CREATED AND MODIFIED TIMESTAMPS WHEN COPYING

Thanks for any help!
