Junctions and Symlinks: current behavior?

What is the behavior of the latest version of VV Pro when it comes to junctions and symlinks?

For example,

* Is it possible to back up a junction or symlink, without backing up what the junction points to?

* Or even,possible to back up the junction along with what it points to?

Of course, one of the problems is that backing up a junction verbatim will point back to the original source, not the current target. However, at least it would point to the right place when you restore.

Any change yet? Lack of support for file and dir symlinks, and junctions prevents me from buying the new version.
