|
|
Hi - I have ViceVersaPRO and VVEngine and am using it to do 2-way sync of NAS drive folders over VPN. I have 15 different profiles setup to break the job up into groups. The two NAS servers are in different countries AND timezones. Also the DST change-over dates are different.
It mostly works great but in a few profiles, I get CONFLICT messages even though I KNOW I only changed one of the files. I assume its timestamp related confusion.
So you have hints / best practices on how to deal with a situation like this?
Thanks. |

Hi, just making sure, are you using the latest version/build of ViceVersa PRO? Did you enter any time offset in profile settings -> comparison? thanks _________________ --

I purchased a month ago so I'm fairly certain I'm up to date. I did not enter a time offset in profile settings b/c I wasn't exactly sure of how to utilize that feature especially when the offset differs for 2-3 weeks during the year when the DST offset for USA and Ireland is out of sync. |
