|
|
Hello,
I would like to know if it's possible to configure Vice Versa Pro to keep NTFS permissions in sync? I have checked the options in the advanced settings, however the permissions are only synced when there's a change on the file. I would like the file and its permissions to be synced when the permissions are changed, but the content is not. Is it at all possible?
Best regards,
Vincent Foley. |

VV will not sync NTFS permissions if only NTFS permissions have changed but not the file timestamp. The same is valid for file attributes such as read-only, hidden etc, they are synchronized when the modified file timestamp changes. _________________ --

Thank you for the quick response. May I ask if you know any program or utility that does this task? Or that would update a file's modification time upon changing permissions, which I guess would then be replicated with Vice Versa.
Thanks. |
