|

Hello, I am new. I recently used windows 10 to try to copy 35 gig source folder on my desktop to my new onedrive; but the copy was very bad. I only got 25 gig to the new onedrive What method do I use with vice versa pro to to ensure onedrive is 100% ie same as source drive and also be sure I lose nothing in either folder? I have had a very bad experience with vice versa when I thought mirroring was the way.... but I saw it deleting files from a drive at the beginning and I stopped the process only to lose 1400 files and have to get them back by manually re-finding the original source files. Many thanks. Murray |

hI, presently all files on target (25 gig) are also on source (35 gig).
I need target to have all 35 gig.
Hope to hear which method is best. I cannot understand the method summaries because I worry that if a file were for some reason deleted from the target, that it would get deleted from source. I do not want any changes to the source at this point.
Thanks |

Hi, synchronization and consolidation are the only two methods that may change the source folder contents if needed. To make sure, select the lock icon next to source in ViceVersa and lock it. ViceVersa will not allow you to make any changes to source not even accidentally. _________________ --
