|
I am just trying to use this program and I wanted to compare two folders of zip files. One is sorted alpha and the other by date. But the names are different, as the date sorted one has the date in front of name. i.e., joe-blow_02-15 vs. 02-15_joe-blow.
I have 762 items in one folder and 759 items in the other. I wanted to find out which ones are missing. Yet, when I run compare, it just shows a list of the files in each folder, not marking any missing.
Is this program capable of showing the missing zip files when they are named differently? And if so, how do you do it?

Hi Nancy,
ViceVersa always matches files based on name, so it will not work for your scenario. Try looking for a duplicate file finder software which will find matching files based on contents.
