Hi there!
I've implemented ViceVersa 2.0 (2009) on one server. I use the mirror setup in the profile in order to keep a folder with its subfolders up to date on a second server.
Problem is that it's horribly slow when it comes to copying the content of each folder to the other computer.
Both computers are connected to a 1Gbit network, usually when copying files between them it does so with lightning speed. When copying via ViceVersa I only get about 5MB/s. The average filesize been copied is about 1.5GB. Total content needed to be in sync is about 1.5TB.
I've tried fiddeling the the advanced settings, increacing, decreasing the buffers, priority etc.. no improvements what so ever.
Please advice.
With best regards

Same problem. I think the 'limit bandwidth to' setting is miscoded and/or buggy and never shuts off from it's default of 5MB/s. |

Actually, the greyed out box for bandwidth limitation is set to 5MB initially. If you check the box to make that box 'live' it starts at 5MB. I suspect that inside the software somewhere, that option is always checked via an 'unintended feature' even if the box is inactive. |

You can test this by copying a large file locally to another folder on the same drive. The transfer rate will go easily above 5MB/s
We got up to 500MB/s when copying a 1GB file between 2 folders on the same disk. _________________ --
