I was wondering if it would be possible to use VV for the following:

1. Server at location 1 has 4 TB of data. I'd like to use VV to copy data to external usb drive for transport to location 2. Once the initial sync is complete (4TB of data) I take drive to location 2
2. At location 2 i use VV to copy data off of USB drive to final location
3. Then - (and here's the question) instrument VV to do a delta copy from the share at location 1 over a WAN to location 2 - perhaps with norescan.

At step 3 - would VV run at location 1 and PUSH to location 2 or would i install VV at location 2 to read off of location 1?

THANKS

ViceVersa needs to rescan at least once, once the data is copied, when it runs the first time. This will compare source and target and they will be identical since you copied all the data.

Both are possible.
