|
|
I am using the Mirror back-up type to clone 3 hard drives (source) on my desktop with 3 corresponding folders on an external harddrive (target). I want (at any given time), to have the exact same things on the 3 harddrives that are in there corresponding folders on the external harddrive.
I have ran into an issue and was wondering if I was doing something wrong. When I make capitalization adjustments on the source files (example: changed a file from Dj Tiesto --> DJ Tiesto), it doesn't see or make the change on the target when I run the program. If I change the name at a more extreme level (for example: add or remove a space), it replaces the target file just fine. I am using both comparison methods.
Why doesn't it update my files on the target?

Hi - currently ViceVersa is not case sensitive. Dj Tiesto is considered equal to DJ Tiesto. I have added this feature to the list of enhancements to be considered for future updates. Thank you for the feedback. _________________ --

It has not been decided in which version to implement this new comparison feature, so I do not know if it will be a free upgrade or not ... _________________ --
