I am trying to make a backup copy (mirror) from one network drive (NAS) to another network drive. The Target drive folder is empty before starting the backup. When the execution completed several files failed to copy and the message box showed "Timestamp Error". The files that it failed to copy do not exist on the Target drive so there couldn't be any conflict with old vs. new timestamps. I could not find any way to get the program to ignore the error and copy the files. I could not find any info about this in your knowledge base or FAQ. Please explain why this is happening and how can I get VV to copy the files.

Normally, ViceVersa does not copy files with timestamp errors and instead an error is reported. For example, ViceVersa does not copy files with timestamp set before 1st of January 1970. Use this option to copy all files anyway. Note that if you are using the Synchronization method, this option can generate additional file conflicts, so it is recommended to fix the incorrect timestamps instead of enabling this option. Also note that the timestamp of the file with timestamp error is not changed by ViceVersa, however the file is copied if this option is enabled. The destination file will get a timestamp set to 1st of January 1970.
