Helo All

Has anyone seen this? Using Vista Home Premium, I did the latest round of important Windows Updates - seven files. When I run ViceVersa - 1.0.2 and 1.0.5 - and click "compare," a strange thing happens. A VV comparison window opens up for a split second and then disappears (almost like a popup blocker closed it). The program is then the main window is frozen, like it is doing a comparison but the windows can't open. Using RollbackRX, I rolled back my computer before the updates and everything worked fine.

I just received a refurbished computer with Vista Business that has all the latest Windows updates. Sure enough, VV does the same thing. I hit "compare," a windows opens momentarily and then disappears.

Has anyone seen this behavior and know what to do about it?

Thanks

On both computers, it was Security Update for Windows (KB3057839)

delete that update and VV 1.0.2 runs fine on both machines

By the way, even with this update installed, ViceVersa Pro worked on my Vista Business machine (didn't try the Vista Home Premium, but I assume it works there too). It's 1.0.2 and 1.0.5 versions that don't work with the update, at least on my Vista machines.
