We're trying to sync 2 servers, with structure:

1) E:\folder\images\
2) \\NETWORK\folder\images\

inside both "IMAGES" folders there are many separate folders with JPEG files.
There are approx. 2 mio. files, with size approx. 40 GB, with approx. 50.000 new files per day.
Both servers must stay at constant sync, since both are alive.

At the moment, VV needs approx. 5 minutes to sync. both servers.
Is there any way to speed up the process.

We also tried to use the date/time limitation, but without success.

Did you try real-time with VVEngine already? See:

Yes, our current VVEngine setup is as follows:

TIME SCHEDULING:
- every 4 hours
- schedule only if changes are detected: FALSE on both, source and target

FILE MONITORING:
- monitor SOURCE: checked
- monitor TARGET: checked
- monitoring level: FULL RECOMPARISON

Well, we went through your KB, where we noticed that the key is in MONITORING LEVEL.

Now we changed MONITORING LEVEL from FULL to SUBFOLDER.

However:
- will this setup catch all file changes inside subfolders?
- will this setup catch all new created folders + files?

Hi, yes, it will. If changes are "lost" because they are happening too fast, then a full re-comparison of source and target will be initiated.

OK, thank you.

Just another Q: you just mentioned, that in case od "lost changes", full re-comparison will be initiated.

Is that automatically, or should we enable it at our scheduler?
