VVEngine used to work great, but lately I routinely get a "Unable to connect to VVEngine" error or a white page with: "VVEngine is busy with a requested operation. Please retry re-connecting in a few seconds."

If I do finally get to see the screen with all the profiles, it usually disappears within a few seconds and gives me one of the two above error messages.

I'm using VVEngine 2.1.0.2 on a Windows 2008 R2 Server.

Hi, please check the file VVEngine.log for possible causes. Location of this file is specified in the VVEngine help file. Please send this file to support (see contact info) for analysis. thanks

The only things I'm seeing in the logs are:

Yeah, that was one of the first things I tried. It didn't make a difference.

I sent a copy of my log file to Support via email yesterday. Hopefully that will provide you with the info you need to resolve this issue.

Any ideas yet on what is causing the problem? It is becoming increasingly difficult to use.

I upgraded, but it didn't help.

I'm seeing this in the log now:
WSASend(...) failure. [ClientThread, Primary Send] [10054]

Please try to check if it's due to a specific profile.
First disable all profiles. Check if issue persists.
then enable one profile at a time, each time checking if the issue persists.
Let us know,
thank you

I am using VVEngine with Synology NAS. Under vice versapro, all seems to work well. In VVEngine it is intermittent. It will ask for username and password to access the NAS. Why does it work in Viceversa not in VVEngine?

ViceVersa and VVEngine may be running with different privilege levels. Are you using mapped drives? If so please see: http://www.tgrmn.com/web/kb/item93.htm

thanks

I'll try that. We've got hundreds of profiles though, it'll take awhile.

Even with ALL the profiles disabled, I still get:

VVEngine is busy with a requested operation. Please retry re-connecting in a few seconds.

Or

Unable to connect to VVEngine ...

and I get these messages so frequently, that its become extremely difficult to use.
