I am looking to buy this software. This may be the wrong place to post this(?) - but I am trying to find an answer to this question:
I have a windows 2008 R2 Standard server that is our main file server and network server
I have a windows 2003 Small business server (service pack 2) that is an extra server.
I want to take the 2003 server off site and via the internet have it mirror the one at the office so I can have an off-site backup for disaster recovery if needed.
will this software work with the two different server OS? all I need backed up is user account info, files, folder structures, etc....DO NOT have Exchange being used on it or SQL.
? thanks. |

Hi, yes, ViceVersa will be able to replicate the files on the 2008 server to the 2003 server. You will need a VPN connection to be available between the two servers and Windows Networking enabled (e.g. network drive and shared folders). thanks _________________ --
