Wondering if there is a way to synchronizes just one pair of folders from within a profile that has, perhaps a dozen or more pairs, some of them involving many gigabyte of data set for a crc compare. The use here is when adding another pair to a profile that is already in sync, and wanting to avoid the time/harddisk exercise of needlessly resyncing the whole thing. Or when work has only been done affecting the data on one of the pairs, etc.

Yes, I know I could do it w/ temporary profiles, etc. What I'm looking for is something along the lines of a context menu, i.e. right-click a folder pair in a profile and "Sync Now", etc.

Is this functionality there somewhere?

Thanks.

I know what you mean, but I don't think it's possible.

What I do is open the multi-entry Profile, then delete the 'pairs' I don't want to run in this particular session, leaving the ones I do. Run the job but crucially (and perhaps obviously) don't save the Profile.

Not the most elegant approach, but all I could think of Wink

Well, it would be nice to get an official word on this, whether it's a planned feature, etc

Hello ForestCat, it's not possible, the alternative could be what Alice suggested or to setup multiple profiles and add them to VVEngine. Then they are very easy to run from within VVEngine, depending on which pair you would like to sync. thanks
