|

I am a relatively new of Vice Versa and have run into a problem...
I ran a comparison of two folders and the comparison window showed me that most files were excluded. Why? I used the default profile and I checked. No exclusions were specified in the profile. What have I done wrong? How do I make sure that all files are included in the comparison?
Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks -- Tim Dempsey |

I have the same problem as tfdempsey and I'm trying to synchronize my files in one drive with my hard disk at my home PC.
Some of the files from the source (one drive) are copied to my target (harddisk), but most of them are excluded.
What can I do to include them?
Thanks a lot ! |

Hi, do you have any file or subfolder filters added? Are the excluded files on a cloud service, e.g. OneDrive? Can you give me some examples of the excluded files? thanks! _________________ --

I have to delete a lot of files from dropbox or buy more storage. I chose to copy them over to OneDrive then cull from Dropbox after checking the transfer is all good.
Multcloud shifted about 40Gb of data but reported 4 (unspecified) errors.
I ran a VV comparison and virtually all of the pictures are indexed as "Excluded" in both DB and OD listings complete with Red X checkmarks. There are over 10,000 files yet only 46 are "Single" files and ticked ok.
Why is this? Is it just because one/both directories are in Cloud Servers?
How do I (urgently) confirm the transfer is correct before killing the original DB files? |
