Both accessible to VV Pro also if VV Pro is "running as administrator"? Right click on ViceVersa and select "run as administrator" thanks

I assume that if you run NotePad as administrator too it also can't access / save files to those same folders?

Do you need a user + password to access the two NASs? Maybe you are only logged in for standard user and not admin.

No, there is only one password for either NAS.

Again, my concern in this is that the other profiles seem to work perfectly?

OK, can you confirm that if you run NotePad as administrator too it also can't access / save files to those same folders? That would exclude ViceVersa/VVEngine as an issue and make it permission issue.

If it is a permission issue, pls try this:

thanks

Hi,

Sorry I forgot to mention in my last post:-

Notepad, running as admin, CAN access both the test folders with no problem.

Now I am perplexed about this! Question
All other programs can access the folders when running as administrator but not ViceVersa? Can you check a few more programs just to be sure?
Also please post the profile file .fsf (it's a text file so you can copy and paste).

thanks

Thanks. I reviewed the settings.

a) you are connecting with admin:
Connect user=admin
Connect password=010101 ( <- this is encrypted not the real pwd)

Please try without any network info in the profile settings, running as admin and as standard in ViceVersa.

b) Is the connect passorwd you are using right now empty ?

thanks

No settings selected in Network, neither default nor specific.

Therefore no password given.

VV Pro finds the folders as a normal user but not when VV Pro is opened with admin rights.

Still the same problem. It only goes away when I select UAC settings to the lowest setting.
