My target backups are on my NAS drive, the path designated by the network path //mybooklive/public/. To protect these files, I set up a private share protected by a user with an ID and Password.

With my files now in the private share, backing up my various drives using Visa Versa works fine. However, running the visa versa scripts on vvengine, it cannot find the target, although when the target files were on the public share, vvengine found them fine.

Obviously vvengine needs to have the ID and password settings somewhere, but I cannot find any settings for this. Is there someway to have vvengine find the protected NAS target share?

Hi, did you already enter the account name and password in the ViceVersa profile settings ? (ViceVersa profile settings -> click on folders -> then click on network)
thanks
