Hi guys

Nearly one year is gone since the last update. Nothing (visible) happend in terms of further development and new functionality. A list of wishes is around for a long time now.

Where are you going to with the product ? Do you take care for your existing customer base or is ViceVersa a dead end ?

Glad to hearing from you

Kind regards, Urmel

Hi, soon we will be releasing a new update which fixes a few reported bugs. Next we will add support for Amazon S3 into ViceVersa so it can sync / backup to the "cloud". ViceVersa is absolutely not dead, it's a very stable program right now. And we will continue improving it. Smile

Happy New Year to everybody!

What I obvioulsy need is is a clear TGRM-definition of "soon" and "next" to understand what is going on. It is now more then 15 months that the product is neither getting any improvents nor any visible development is taking place.
Hard to believe that I got told the truth! Action says more than thousand words. How sad ...

I have to say: I love programms that DON'T get a update every week:
The best and most stable programms around do not need update, except for functionality. (Use my trusty Eudora E-mail programm now for 10 years without update, its dead, but still really good with attachments since they go in their own explorer folders which I can back up easily (incremental) with Vice Versa, no need to update a PST 5-15 GB file every time a sync is running...)

Talking about which:
Are there any plans to have Computer to Computer sync via Internet (so I can create my own personla cloud)?
Or can this be done (automated the moment the other PC is online) already?

Hi, you can connect the two computer with VPN and then start sharing / syncing files, see examples:
