There needs to be additional options for better log file management. ViceVersa is an extremely versatile tool and allowing more customizations or automations to the log files ViceVersa & VVEngine generates would be much appreciated.
Things such as archiving old log files, auto-creating new log files based once it reaches a certain size, log file viewer for large files, and single point of access to configure VV / VVEngine log file locations. I am sure there are more that others may add, but these are some of the things that would be much appreciated by many users in my opinion.
Hoping there is a major update coming soon. |

Would this be an option to rename the log with maybe date and time once it reaches a certain size and then restart with an empty log?

This would be hard as VVEngine and ViceVersa are actually separate tools and produce separate logs. I think you are right that it would be better if they shared logging capabilities, but I think this would be quite hard to achieve.
