VV Pro Win 8.1 laptop & desk top

trying to ensure documents on both machines are the latest version when synced.

First I tried to sync Documents but became scared when the displayed tree was bigger than I expected.

Then I tried something simpler
Source folder Excel data in Documents folder in laptop
Target folder Excel data in documents folder in desktop

When I compare I get the full tree on both source and target screens showing everything that is on each machine. I also get an error message about desktop ini which I had tried to exclude.

I clearly do not understand what I am doing, I have looked through the tuition. read faq etc.

Help would be appreciated.

Thank you Nyquist

Hi, you should be able to see the files side-by-side in ViceVersa and then select the sync execution method to sync them. You can click preview first to see which files ViceVersa wants to copy to which side. thanks

Thank you for the prompt reply. I tried my best and only succeeded in deleting large number of files on the target drive.

I regret that I haven't the time to master the program and so I have deleted the software from both my computers. It is entirely my fault that I cannot master it, and I should have saved money by getting the trial first.

I don't suppose a stupid elderly pensioner would qualify for a refund would he?
