VV Pro Win 8.1 laptop & desk top
trying to ensure documents on both machines are the latest version when synced.
First I tried to sync Documents but became scared when the displayed tree was bigger than I expected.
Then I tried something simpler
Source folder Excel data in Documents folder in laptop
Target folder Excel data in documents folder in desktop
When I compare I get the full tree on both source and target screens showing everything that is on each machine. I also get an error message about desktop ini which I had tried to exclude.
I clearly do not understand what I am doing, I have looked through the tuition. read faq etc.
Help would be appreciated.
Thank you Nyquist |

Hi, you should be able to see the files side-by-side in ViceVersa and then select the sync execution method to sync them. You can click preview first to see which files ViceVersa wants to copy to which side. thanks _________________ --

Thank you for the prompt reply. I tried my best and only succeeded in deleting large number of files on the target drive.
I regret that I haven't the time to master the program and so I have deleted the software from both my computers. It is entirely my fault that I cannot master it, and I should have saved money by getting the trial first.
I don't suppose a stupid elderly pensioner would qualify for a refund would he? |
