If I install ViceVersa Pro on my PC and use it to synchronize files between two different servers. How is the flow of files between the two servers? In other words, my PC (with ViceVersa installed) get files from one server then copy them to the other one and vice versa or the files are transferred directly between the two servers?
There is one firewall between my PC and the two servers. What protocols and ports do I have to open on the firewall so that ViceVersa can work properly for all reconciling methods (synchronization, backup, and replication)?
Thanks in advance. |

Hi,
Your PC with ViceVersa installed will get files from one server and then copy them to the other one.
No special ports must be open: just the basic Windows Network with folder shares must be working OK for ViceVersa to be able to access the files.
thanks _________________ --
