I am wondering if I want to create a "mirrored" file server to my primary, using ViceVersa, so I need to configure the Share/NTFS permissions as well? Should this be done before setting up the profile?
What advantage does ViceVersa have over something like MS DFS? |

Hi, ViceVersa does not copy share information (that information is actually stored in the Windows Registry). It will copy file permissions (there's an option for that) if root source and target folder have the same permissions to start with.
ViceVersa PRO has fewer requirement compared to DFS and more options, I recommended to have a look at the VVEngine add-on too: http://www.tgrmn.com/web/vvengine/vvengine.htm
