I loaded VVLauncher and got an error "Failed adding VVLauncher to Local registry startup list"
VVLauncher does load, but does not load after a re-boot.
XP Pro
Any ideas to correct / work arounds / or can I manually add the registry entries? |

This happens when VVLauncher does not have access rights to the Windows Registry in order to add it self to the startup list ... does your account have access rights to the Windows Registry? Are you using some registry protection program? _________________ --

I have full admin rights - I can regedit the registry.
I'm not aware of any registry protection program.
I've had this problem on 2 machines and it installed fine on a 3rd, the only obvious thing the two have in common that is not installed on the 3rd is APC Powerchute personal edition ? I'm going to try and disable / remove the Powerchute to see if that solves the problem?
** Edit **
Unstalled APC Powerchute - did not help |

I used Mike Lin's " Start Up Control Panel" to add VVLauncher.exe to the HKCU/run tab.
VVLauncher loads fine now. |
