I am in need of accomplishing the following and am hoping ViceVersa will work:

Install on Windows Server 2012

Run as a service (without being logged into the server)

Be able to automatically copy the contents of several source folders to a single destination folder on the same computer on file creation or change (we create thousands of PDF files that are written to various folders throughout the day - we need all new or changed files to automatically be copied to a single destination folder)

Is this achievable?

Thanks

Hi , it's all achievable (use the VVEngine add-on to run as service): http://www.tgrmn.com/web/vvengine/vvengine.htm

The target however can't be a "flat" folder. PDF documents will be copied with their subfolder. e.g. if source is c:\ and target is x:\folder\, the file c:\docs\filename.pdf would be copied to x:\folder\docs\filename.pdf

Do you need a "flat" folder? Any specific reason for having that instead of also having subfolders propagated?

thanks
