The ViceVersa client appears to be having issues connecting to our exchange mail server. It times out after 3-4 seconds when attempting to test mail from the client. All of the other servers we have VV installed on works fine. When we try to telnet to our mail server from the same server with the issue using command prompt, it works fine. Is there a way to increase the connection time-out settings on the client end?
Thanks. |

Hi, there are two timeout values used: connection timeout which is set to 5 secs and SMTP timeout which is set to 10 secs. Unfortunately, these values are currently hard-coded in the source and are not customizable via the Windows Registry.... _________________ --

I figured as much. Hopefully, a future version will contain an option that allows users to modify the time-out settings. |
