|
|
When I open one of my profiles I have some 30+ folders indicated as exluded (same happens when I create a new backup profile from scratch with the same content). No matter how hard I try, I can't reinclude those folders. I don't find any excluded folders or files in the profile settings. Context menu in file list does ONLY allow to exclude more files or folders, but that's oneway dead end, no vice versa. Hold on, I find the excluded folders that I have created THE VERY SAME SESSION in the profile settings, where I can delete them. But I can't do anything about the 30+ folders that were indicated as excluded from the beginning. What can I do about them?
This happens with latest 64bit PRO build. |

Do you have any file or subfolder filters in the profile settings? Excluding hidden, system files etc.? Are these folder empty or do they contain files?

That is the strange thing: The subfolder filter contains ONE INCLUDE line (the topfolder of the content I want to sync), the file filter has no entry (= all), and there aren't ANY of the checkboxes checked, neither in the file or subfolder nor in the date/time dialog. ? |

No, I don't need it. But then, removing it does't help either.
However, it now looks like I found the reason for my problem. For a second's fraction right after completion of compare I spotted a message in the right bottom corner saying like: 31 folders could not be accessed.
That made me look into the security options of the (target's) files and folders. And BINGO, the disk's NTFS proved to be corrupt and I could indeed not access certain folders.
Running a disk check right now, maybe needs reformatting. Anyway, I'm quite sure after that viceversa backup will run as smooth as ever before!
