I recently install vice versa on a 2003 server (server A). I try to take a copy from another server (server B)to a USB disk on the 2003 server. Every work nice when i lauch the job manually. When i schedule a job by VSScheduler, i always have the error "Enable to find path Z:....". Then, i switch vice versa on a 2000 Server and copy the files from Server B to Server A. Everything is OK if i launch manually the transfert but i have the same trouble with task scheduler. The only way that works by scheduler is if i install vice versa on a windows XP. How can i make it work on a Windows 2003 Server? |

Somehow VV does not have access to the USB drive while running scheduled on the two servers.
A test you could make is to create a batch file like this:
copy c":\test.txt" "z:\test.txt"
Schedule the batch to run. Does it work?
I suspect this is something to do with policies set on the servers.
also check under which account you are running the scheduled task to make sure that access to the USB drive is granted. _________________ --
