I am a (brand) new user of VV PRO and have no previous experience with software to archive/backup data.
The problem that I am facing is how to syncronize e-mail messages between a desktop and a laptop. I always download e-mails with the desktop, and need to have an up-to-date copy of all my archive in my laptop.
I use Microsoft Outlook 2002, and before buying VV pro, I was used to export .pst files from the desktop to the laptop. The whole operation requires ages. Is there a better way of doing this using VV PRO?
I will appreciate any suggestion.
Best regards,
Giovanni |

Hello
currently VV does not synchronize PST files "within", that is messages, contacts, etc. VV considers PST files as normal files and will replace the older PST with the newer PST. _________________ --

one of the BIGGEST problems in computing is sync of the Outlook PST files between laptop and desktop.
NOT an overwrite of the oldest PST file BUT a complete sync of messages, elimation of dups .. so both computers contain the exact same emails
There can be no bigger improvement in your program that having it able to properly sync Outlook PST folders between Laptop & Desktop.
I will buy your program once it has this feature. Meanwhile I do not see any sense to buy several programs just to Sync all my files properly.
Sync of PST folders and other such folders are features belonging in a proper Sync program |
