Hello,
I've a Problem with the german character set.
Source is an Windows 7 system with german language; target is a synology diskstation with english language.
When german characters like ö in a filename is used then,
in Vice Versa pro on the left side (source) the file is displayed correctly like "Grönemeyer" but on the right side (target) the file is shown as "Gr_nemeyer" and the results is that files are copied in both ways although anything is ok.
Anyone any idea? Help will be great; thanks

Hi , can you copy Grönemeyer from source to target with Windows? If yes, will ViceVersa match the two files? thanks _________________ --

Hello,
yes I can copy the file from source to target with Windows.
ViceVersa doesn't match the two files; viceVersa copy the file from source to target with a different filename; it copy "Grönemeyer" under the new filename "Gr_nemeyer".
Unfortuntely link to an external Website where you can find a hardcopy of the compare window are not allowed

Sorry for the delay, thanks for the 'bump' ...
I think it looks like an issue with DISKSTATION....
Do the files look alright if opening them via other applications such as NotePad?
Try to copy some of the same file from the same source to a different target? Are the German chars OK?
