I am using WIn 8.1 and Vice Versa Pro Build 2513

When I create scheduled tasks:
- I see them listed as '.job" files in VScheduler, eg USERD-11.job
- I can see the ,job files C:\windows\systems32\tasks
- I see them listed as ".xml files in Task Scheduler eg _viceversapr2_task_USERD-11.xml

Q1) In what folder are the XML files stored?
Q2) I have now rebuilt my computer ( new SSD boot drive) and want to restore the above from backups. How do I bring them back into ViceVersa VScheduler??
Q3) How do I bring them back into Windows Task Scheduler??

Hi, when you create a task in VVScheduler, VVScheduler actually creates a Windows Task Scheduler task. To restore the VVScheduler tasks you'll need to restore all the Windows Task Scheduler tasks. thanks

In theory thats correct, however when you create a task in Vscheduler it creates JOB files in C:\windows\systems32\tasks

There is no way to restore or import JOB files to Task Scheduler. At least no way I could find. How do you do it??? It only wants to import XML files. And Vice Versa does not produce XML files!!

I think all my backed up tasks (job files in C:\windows\systems32\tasks) are useless, and cannot be restored. The only way, it seems, to backup tasks is to first manually export them one by one to XML files and treat that as the backup. Only then can they later be imported.

SUGGESTIION - Vice Vera should have automatically do this, ie ti should create XML files when it creates the JOB file.

Those steps refer to a different issue out outline how to import XLS tasks.

Thats not the issue.

The issue is that Vice Versa only creates 'job file. ...hence my suggestion above.

So I had not choice but to create my tasks from scratch.
