I am using VV Pro and VV Engine to schedule folder synchronization between a central network share (Source) and 12 remote VPN locations (Target). The profile for the first location runs every 30 minutes, then the other locations run sequentially once that has finished.
I have noticed that once a file is modified at the target, it is no longer updated when the source changes. When this happens, the only way to update the target is to perform a "Run with Rescan".
Here is an example. I create a Test.txt file at the Source with the contents of "123". I let that copy to my all Targets. I delete the file from one Target and re-run the first profile. That target is not given the file that was deleted. Running the profile with Rescan seems to work fine.
What option(s) do I need to enable/disable so that the targets are always a reflection of the source no matter what? I'm Ok with a Rescan happening every time, as the connections are fast and we're not talking about a lot of files. |

Hi, are you using the "Do not rescan" option for target in the ViceVersa Profile settings -> performance? thanks _________________ --

That's it! Changed "Do not rescan" to <blank> and now it's making the remote target a literal mirror of the source just like I want.
Thanks! |
