Once VVEngine is configured with File Monitoring:
- Monitor Source and Run When File Changes Are Detected
- Monitor Target and Run When File Changes Are Detected
- Monitoring level-> File Level

I cannot eject the target device (USB external disk).
Is there a way to instruct VVEngine to close open handles and unload the drive? Or simply close all open handles?

It looks like stopping the profile & disabling it solves the problem. This means you have to remember to enable the profile once done. Maybe you could add an option to automate this, such as stop profile and eject device?

Hi, this is due to monitoring the target files (files on the USB drive). Do you need to have that or you could monitor only files on the source.
thanks

Ah well, yes it could be possible for to monitor only changes on the Source as the target is for back/sync purposes on the other computer.ù

Would this work with the initial full resync, once the external disk is plugged in?

Hi, yes that would work without monitoring target too.
