Windows 8 VVEngine 'gadget' ?

Any plans to make an "app" for Windows 8 that is like the Win 7 "gadget"? Loved it.....miss it in Win 8!

We'd love to... however Windows 8 tiles (the metro apps which have replaced the desktop gadgets) are not allowed/supposed to access desktop resources (where VVEngine is running), see:

On top of that, when working on the desktop part of Windows 8, tiles are not visible.

We hope Microsoft will change this limitation and restore support for Window Gadgets on Windows 8 or later.

You mentioned windows 8 does not allow gadgets, but you provide a Gadget Pack for Windows 8 which restores microsoft's gadgets. I have tried but cannot add your vvengine gadget to this app and was wondering if this was possible? If not, is there anything you can provide to replace the gadget which will display on the desktop showing the status of the setups?
