|
|
I have two directories that generate many temporary files. I have excluded these two directories from my Vice Versa profile.
I have VV Engine setup to run this profile and monitor for real-time changes. VV Engine keeps activating this profile when changes are detected in the excluded subdirectories. This results in many, many unnecessary profile executions and fills up my log.
Can I setup VV Engine to run for real-time changes and NOT monitor excluded directories? |

Hi, it's a current limitation of VVEngine. Filters do not apply to file monitoring (they should). The only way is to try to build profiles that only include the folders you want to deal with without using filters. thanks _________________ --

Thanks for the reply.
I cannot build a profile that only gets the files I need because file folders and file names are generated dynamically and may be close enough to my excluded directories to cause the excluded directories to be included.
Is the feature to not monitor excluded directories planned for a future release? |
