I'm working for a client that prefers to use ViceVersa for file migration/movement across the network. They have a request to replace an FTP with VV.

The source is available through VPN and can be mapped within their (target) network. I was going to setup a profile to bring over new files.

My question - if an application processes the file from the target location after VV copies it over from the source, and then deletes the file, will not the VV profile see a discrepancy and then recopy the file from the source?

They do not want this to occur, and from my readings of the different sync options, I do not see a setting that would accomplish this.

Thank you.
